walking at night

Linked to Carpe Diem Special #140: Kala Ramesh’s “morning prayers”, which is in tune with “peace of mind” and “healing”, which will be recurring themes this month.

And here are our host Chèvrefeuille’s responses:

midsummer night
in the light of the full moon

the moon is rising
silvery waves resonate
in tune with my heart

He also shared this amazing video of bio-luminescent waves:

  2. We have a huge white star (probably a planet – I keep thinking it should be Jupiter ) out in our western sky over the mountains and above the Eastern mountains the moon! … and isn’t the moon splendid? Now that the clouds have moved out the sky is fantastic! I’m thinking we have a slightly different view of the stars … or rather with the time difference you’re looking at the alignment at a different angle or time of day … it is so cool though and I should have known you’d be looking at it too! 🙂

How I love Hey Jude … it’s taken me over many a rough spot.

  3. Couldn’t help adding a nod to Cynthia, who passed away this week. From what I understand – when Paul wrote this song he was encouraging Julian (who was struggling with John /Cynthia’s divorce) as well as the trials and tribulations of being a teenage male 🙂

It matches the post only tangentially perhaps – one of those earworms that makes you feel relaxed and at peace despite its history. At least for this weirdo, anyway 😉

Glad you liked the haiku. Have been watching this moon / star / lamplight alignment for several days. Not knowing where it would find a home, you know?
