Second Version of this Haiga

  1. I prefer this version of the haiga because –
    1. The best moments are often those that don’t require any reason, I find
    2. The ‘no reason’ is actually very classically zen/haiku, isn’t it, despite the non-traditional presentation of the haiku.

So, despite the seeming simplicity (which you were a bit unsure about) I see depths here 🙂

    • Thank you so much, Blake — it’s interesting to look back now, months later, and review both haiga. I think you’re right — this one is the better of the two. Plus I’ve read so much more on classical zen, classical haiku, and can appreciate the “simple depth” now. 🙂
