crazy leaves

in dead leaves
crackling underfoot
my herald –
whether i run or shuffle
this voice will be heard

Heeding Haiku with Chevrefeuille

“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop”.
– Confucius

slowly, slowly
plover with burnt tail feathers
where to now?
